One of the top Liberal Arts Universities in Nebraska

We’re a small liberal arts college renowned for our commitment to academic excellence. Our innovative approach stresses critical thinking to produce thought leaders of tomorrow.

Started from the hilltop now we're here

In 1857, the General Association of Congregational Churches laid the foundation for a distinguished liberal arts and science institution. In 1871, Crete Academy was born. Today, we stand as Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±.

Our 13th President, Dr. Roger Hughes

Announced as President of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½± in May 2021, Roger has hit the ground running – only fitting for a former head college football coach. As a Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½± alum himself, Roger understands the high quality of a liberal arts education and the unique community that is Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½± students, faculty and alumni.
